AT.MIC Fine-grained construction finishing coat for interior works

Ready to use fine-grained latex putty for interior work. Easily to apply and align, quick-drying, it is safe for human health and the environment.

APPLICATION AREA

It is designed for leveling concrete, plaster, gypsum and other mineral surfaces before the application of waterborne paint and wallpapering. It has a high adhesive strength with the base. Being flexible, it is easy to sand and forms a very smooth surface. Especially recommended for strengthening of small surface defects, cracks, crevices. Recommended for the final topcoat.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface for spackling should be dry, able to maintain loading, firm, flat and clean. There shouldn't be exfoliating layers on it. Dense, slightly water absorbent mineral surface or completely non-absorbent concrete bases, mineral plaster surfaces, porous, highly absorbent or non-absorbent surfaces (foam concrete, aerated concrete, sand-lime brick, drywall, etc.) should be primed with deep penetration AT.A.

APPLICATION

Caulking is delivered in a ready to use form. It is impossible to combine it with other materials. Before application and in operating time it must be thoroughly mixed until smooth. When caulking the ambient temperature has to be above +8 ºC, and the relative humidity within (35-80)%.The filler material can be applied manually with the pallet or by a mechanized way. Before applying the second layer, the first layer must be completely dried up. Maximum thickness of a single layer of putty is of 5 mm. In case of application for a finishing layer of fine-grained AT.MIC hard putty, for the first layer, it is recommended to apply coarse-grained AT.MAC hard putty.

Grind the dried plastered surface with fine sandpaper № 200-240, until smooth and remove sanding dust. The puttied surface can be painted with suitable decorative and finishing paints on a water basis. After completion of works wash up the working tools with water.

AT.S7 matt paint for interior works

AT.S7 matt paint for interior. Matt water dispersion paint based on styrene-acrylic latex for interior work. It has good application characteristics and strong adhesion to the base, it does not drip when applied, without a strong smell, safe for human health and the environment. Creates durable, wear-resistant, water-resistant, vapor permeable coating that is resistant to the action of detergents and disinfectants. Formed  coating can withstand wet cleaning.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The surface to be painted should be dry, plain, and well cleaned from dust, limestone, chalk, grease, or other materials that decrease adherence to the surface. It is recommended to remove the remains of the poorly stuck coat. Remove old exfoliated coating from the surface with a scraper or sand blower. Priory painted surfaces that have not exfoliated from the base should be washed with water and soap, cleanser or 3% soda solution and rinse with clean water. After washing, rough up the surface with abrasive paper and remove dust. Surfaces affected by fungi or other biological contamination should be cleaned with the help of eliminator of microorganisms and fungi. Smoothen cement surface variances with AT paste filler. We recommend using coarse-grained AT MAC paste filler for the first layer and fine-grained AT MIC paste filler for the finishing cementing. It is recommended to cement cracks and cavities of the base with reinforcing AT.T paste filler. After drying, grind the surface and remove dust.

SURFACE PAINTING AND CARE

Before use and during the work the paint should be thoroughly mixed until smooth. Paint 1-2 times with a brush, roller or using the technique of airless spraying. For mechanized painting, it is recommended to use an airless high-pressure spray gun GRACO according to the operation instruction. When spraying paint, it may be diluted with clean water (up to 5% by volume), if necessary. When painting walls, apply the paint to the surface first with horizontal movements, and smoothing brush strokes should be applied from the bottom up. During painting, the temperature of the treated surface and the environment should be above +8 ºC, and relative humidity should be in the range of 35-80%. Too high temperature of the environment and the draft may cause the formation of the defective paint film. Wash tools with water immediately after completion of the work.

To clean surfaces mackled during execution of works, use clean water and natural or slightly alkaline cleaning agents. Do not use cleaners containing organic solvents. Under normal conditions, a film of latex paint reaches its ultimate strength within 4 weeks after painting, so before the expiry of the mentioned period avoid intense cleaning of the surface.

AT.MAC Light coarse-grained construction plaster for interior works

Very light coarse-grain latex plaster with a low-density filler for internal work. Easily applied and smoothed, has low water absorption and good water vapour permeability, quick-drying, safe for people and the environment.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Designed for smoothing concrete, plaster, gypsum and other mineral surfaces for the application of waterborne paint and wallpaper. It has a high strength of adhesion to the base. Flexible, very easy to sand without forming dust. Due to the low water absorption of the plaster surface before painting, you don't have to prime the wall. It is possible to easily produce a textured surface. It improves the sound and heat insulation of walls. It is recommended as the first layer when smoothing an uneven base.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface for plastering should be dry, be able to withstand a load, be strong, smooth and clean. There should not be cracking layers on it. Remove old cracking paint from the surface and the clean the weak surface until there is a solid base. To improve the adhesion strength, sand previously painted glossy surfaces until matte and remove dust. Thoroughly wash surfaces previously painted with chalk or lime until no traces of the former coatings remain. Surfaces affected by mould, fungi and other organic contaminants, must be further cleaned. To clean, a cleaner specifically for microorganisms and mould is recommended. Porous, highly absorbent or non-absorbent surfaces (foam concrete, aerated concrete, sand-lime brick, drywall, etc.) should be primed with deep penetration.

APPLICATION

The plaster is ready to use. You must not combine it with other materials. Before use and during work with the plaster, you must thoroughly mix until smooth. When plastering, room temperature must be above 8ºC with a relative humidity in the range of (35-80) %. The plaster can be applied by hand using a plastering spatula or using mechanised tools. When using mechanised tools, according to the instruction manual, it is recommended to use the airless spray gun with high pressure, GRACO. Before applying the second layer, the first layer of plaster should be completely dry. The maximum thickness of a single layer of plaster should be 10mm. After applying the first layer of light coarse-grained plaster, AT.MAC, it is recommended to use the light fine-grained putty AT.MIC for the topcoat. Sand the dried, plastered surface with fine grit mesh № 200-240 until smooth and remove residual sanding dust. The plastered surface can be painted with suitable, finishing water-based paints.
